We had an amazing weekend staying here. The views were so much better than we even were expecting. The place was a perfect for a relaxing girls weekend with 8 of us.

Amazing stay! Hosts were amazing and super responsive.

We were a group of eight and were comfortable with the size of the house. The views were amazing. If you want to go down to the water it is a lot of steps but worth the trip. It was perfect for a quiet, relaxing weekend getaway. The host left some snacks and water bottles which was a very nice touch because we arrived later than expected and didn't have a chance to stop right away to stock up for the weekend. I would recommend this house for sure.

The best place in Poconos so far! Breathtaking views, a great place to recharge from a city hustle.

Views views views!!! These views were amazing! I treated my boyfriend for his birthday and we had such a relaxing time. The fire pit was amazing. We took a walk down by the river so peaceful but so many steps! What a workout! I would definitely recommend this home!

Our stay was very peacful! I'll continuue with the photos adn description of this airbnb was about 9/10, meaning the photos did it justice but YOU MUST experience it in person! This cottage was one of the most breathtaking and beautiful homes that we’ve experienced. The house is exactly how it’s described and pictured but being there is a different experience.. The beauty and peacefulness of the mountains and the river below was amazing! The firepit and the walk to the river below is so serene. 

 The stores/groceries are about 10 min drive away. To get the house is beautiful mountainous drive. We would definitely rent this home again and the host was very responsive and helpful.

It was a last min getaway and we were excited to have found this beautiful place. We were attracted by the tranquility and awesome view shown in listing pictures, and we were not disappointed at all. We stayed for 3 nights, even it was raining for 2 full days, we didn't get to enjoy the outside much but we love the comfort the inside has to offer. We felt right at home. Host was also very responsive to a couple questions we have. Kids already asked to come back when it's warmer so they can fish in the creek.

Overall had a wonderful time. I loved every single inch of the house and the peaceful environment!.

Could not access until 4pm exactly. We arrived about 5 minutes early and were greeted by 2 starving feral kittens that were literally climbing up our bodies. As we waited for the lock to work, we had some chicken that we fed them. When we were finally able to access the house we came across a bag of cat food so someone had obviously fed them previously. 
The outdoor furniture out front had a torn cover and the furniture was dirty. The fire pit was not cleaned out and had trash that wasn’t picked up. Lastly, when I went down to sit on the dock at the creek, I was surprised to find the dock torn apart and just framed out. So I wasn’t able to do that and it was disappointing. 
The home itself and location are really beautiful. We went on a perfect weather weekend in February with temperatures pushing 60 and we really hoped to spend time outside. Overall disappointed. 
We located a rescue that came and took the kittens. That was nice.
Personally, I prefer to deal direct with the owner.

Beautiful home in a stunning location. The wraparound deck shows a 270 degree view of the valley, sunlight pours into the house from every direction, and you can hear the sound of the Bushkill Creek bubbling from below. This house was built by people with a vision--it clings to a hillside in a way that's dramatic and completely unique, but inside feels comfortable and full of character and charm. Hosts are generous in providing snacks, coffee, bottled water and even wine (which we were too lame to drink). The cottage is not large, but the interior space is utilized so well that a large family can still find room to spread out over a long visit. The host WanderHome is very responsive and kind--we didn't have to troubleshoot any issues but that was largely because the host seems to have thought of everything--check-in was easy and the home manual covers everything else. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a unique experience.

Pictures does no justice for the amazing views. This was exactly what we were looking for to spend Christmas. The views, nature, sound of the river flowing was just so peaceful and relaxing. The house felt like  home away from home! We will definitely be back!

Wonderful place, we really enjoyed our stay.

Our overall stay was really great and our host, Wander Homes, made the process very easy - from checking-in to our final minute. The overall response on the initial inquiry was pretty quick and the instructions provided were very detailed and helpful. The cleanliness of the home would be rated at an 8 out of 10, as there was small details that were missed and could have been better. The cottage offered everything for our convenience and the little additions to the pantry went a long way. We didn't get our complimentary bottle of wine as advertised but the views made up for it. The stay was what we needed - the tranquility, the views, nature and the added bonus of the river below...magnificent!! We would stay here again.

This is a peaceful house located on a cliff with beautiful views of the foliage. Don’t forget your binoculars! Lots of wildlife to see. We saw lots of deer, chipmunks, birds, fox, turkey vultures, and a bear!

Simply perfect. Was looking for a quiet retreat with beautiful surroundings and this was it. We won’t forget our stay at this spot. It was breathtaking with the morning sunrises and evening sunsets. Hope to come back soon again one day!

The location is tucked away and private yet it is still easy to get to nearby attractions. We visited Bushkill falls and many of the wineries around . Our stay was perfect from start to finish . The stay at the chalet was amazing. The view is outstanding and in a private part on top of the mountains. The space was big and everything was as described. Communication with the host was easy. Would definitely recommend staying here!

We had a great stay here at the house. The views were even better than the pictures & it was so serene & just what I needed. 
My only complaint was that there were no matches or anything to start a fire in the fire pit- plenty of wood though. And also, there was no cooking oil like we saw in the pictures. 
Very clean place, very comfy and kept nice. Would come back in a heart beat! Kind of a higher cleaning fee, we left the place pretty spotless on checkout, but worth the views and the place. 
Has easy access down to the creek, which is also a nice touch.

Great house off of the cliff with a beautiful view!

This home did not meet our expectations at all. The home is beautiful the location stunning. Problem is the cleanliness and their willingness to put off issues like the piles of trash that was rancid and full of insects from previous renters, slimy bathrooms, basements that smell like a toilet, support beams missing and broken doors. Every day from the time we arrived to the time we left we were told the trash would be removed, we left and the trash remained. BOTH coffee pots were broken (had to have another delivered. And let’s not mention the house was UNLOCKED when we got there! We should have known from
The start based on this alone!  No compensation was ever offered even after all the issues above were mentioned while we were there as we found them. We even contacted wander home after the fact when we got home  and they completely left the virtual chat and didn’t respond.

Great house and great host. House was very clean and everything you could need was provided. Definitely right on the cliff and the location was very peaceful and serene. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would return.

Great relaxing getaway location, perfect to connect with the outdoors; take your binocs, hiking shoes, waders, fly rod to enjoy the outdoors; well equipped culinary set, so take your favorite meal ingredients and enjoy a meal on the deck with an absolute amazing private view.  Also, keep a look out for the hummingbirds and bald eagles.

The home was exactly as pictured with a fantastic view to match! Communication with the host was consistent, helpful, and always prompt. They even have a personal website that provided suggestions for the area, tips & tricks, and everything you could need to support your stay! The host was always ahead in communication to ensure the stay was completely ready for our arrival and we knew what to expect upon arrival. The house was clean and provided all the amenities we described. Our stay was wonderful!

This home is so nice and worth every penny! We booked it a week before Independence Day, and I still can't believe it was actually available last minute on a holiday! I'm ready to come back here every holiday if I can, if not maybe at least once a year.

The place is even better than the photos, you truly feel like you're in paradise and living in a tree house. 

I do wish there was a hammock to lay in on the deck somewhere. 

We came as a family of 6 including a baby. I stayed in the basement with the baby and we had plenty of room and didn't disrupt anyone's sleep when baby would wake up in the middle of the night. 

Had breakfast on the deck with the gorgeous views, roasted marshmallows by the fire pit, walked down the extremely long stairs to the river, which was amazing but definitely a workout. Not sure if that little area by the river is available to anyone else, but it felt like it was our very own and very private.

I really hope to come back again soon.

This house was beautiful and a wonderfully relaxing place to spend the week. The house was very clean and cozy. We could see the stars from the deck at night.  The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking and more. Nearby attractions such as Bushkill Falls, the Flea Market, and the Pocono Indian Museum are also very worth the trip! We can’t wait to come back and visit again.

Lovely stay at this home. Very private and secluded. Beautiful views—prettier in summer with full foliage than the photos depict—and so the decks and sunroom are really lovely if you just want a private getaway with lovely views and a great place to sip wine or have coffee. Furnishings were as depicted and all comfortable. No dressers so could be hard for a longer stay but kitchen was better equipped with helpful and updated, clean basics like Tupperware etc than is the case at most airbnbs. Felt clean especially considering they allow dogs. The gravel roads in at the end could be regraded after the winter but aren’t; Mazda cx-5 made it no issue as would most any sedan if you go slow but just something to know. Not a good home if accessibility is your concern though as there’s 20 some steps to get down from driveway. This place is worth it for the pretty secluded views so if you just want to get away from it all but stay close to the city, this is a good choice. Would come back.

Gorgeous place to stay for a vacation, and well equipped.

This home is just absolutely peaceful and serene. Although we traveled at night and the road to the home was a bit bumpy, everything else about the home made up for that. Chillin in the sunroom with the doors open and hearing the River below brought tranquility and serenity. My 2 kids (17 yo and 8 yo) enjoyed the space as well. They slept downstairs in the basement and called it “the boys” room. They enjoyed every minute of it. The kitchen was also equipped with almost everything you could think of. If you don’t feel like cooking, there are restaurants about 15-20 mins drive and the nearest grocery store about 15-17 mins away. 

We would definitely book again!

To put it simply, this place was amazing! Super cozy home with a fantastic view! Our hostess Marianne was the best, very responsive and attentive. The best part, Marianne is a dog lover. The place was dog friendly, with bowls, poops bags, toys and even a puppy bed!! The house is situated on the top of a cliff with super amazing views on all three sides. The interior is chic but cozy and you notice it right away upon walking in. The wood stove was a fantastic touch. Oh and may I say just how clean everything was! Especially the bathrooms! Our only regret was that we did not book this place for a longer time!!! We definitely plan to come back! Thank you Marianne!!!

This place was a great secluded place to stay for a quick getaway to disconnect from the world. The decorations were laid out very nicely and I loved the sun room. The drive up was a little scary at times but we got through it. The weather was beautiful, and the best part was lighting the wood burning stove at night and feeling warm and cozy.
